Baltimore City Councilman and Chair of the Public Safety Committee Mark Conway said the city still has no clear concise plan to address the city’s opioid overdose problem.

Conway spoke on the C4 and Bryan Nehman Show Tuesday morning. When asked about the issue, Conway stressed the need for a comprehensive approach involving various city departments, including law enforcement, health, housing, and employment resources.

“This is what a comprehensive plan looks like,” Conway said. “It’s not just busting the guys dealing drugs on the corner.”

Conway said the slow progress is due to a lack of political will from City Hall.
