EVANS, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A controversial proposed data center in Appling is expected to be a hot topic at Tuesday night’s Columbia County Planning Commission meeting.
It’s been nearly four months since the county rezoned 1,600 acres of land to make way for the project , but since then, many say they’ve been left in the dark about what’s coming next.
According to a state application filed in May, the data center could bring in $118 million in annual revenue.
