DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - The first state-licensed recreational cannabis dispensary is set to open two years after cannabis was legalized in Minnesota.

Legacy Cannabis in Duluth was one of the nine microbusinesses granted a lottery license across the state at the beginning of August.

A grand opening ceremony will be held at the Legacy Cannabis in West Duluth, scheduled for 4:20 p.m. Tuesday.

Products will now include cannabis flower grown by the White Earth Nation, based out of Northwestern Minnesota.

Cannabis will only be available to individuals 21 years of age or older.
