RUTLAND, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - Vermont State Police said Tuesday that two people had been taken into custody and one house declared "uninhabitable" in connection with a drug investigation that began back in June.
Earlier Tuesday, a search warrant was executed on the 100 block of South Main Street in Rutland City by Rutland City Police, federal investigators from the Department of Homeland Security, and drone operators from Vermont State Police.
Elizabeth Capen, 33, and Daniel Rabtoy, 38, both of Rutland, were arrested on charges of selling cocaine. Police said there were others at the house, including two young children.
Police say that Capen was on authorized temporary release after convictions which include grand larceny and simple assault. She was ordered held on bail, while Rabtoy is
