CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Friday morning starts with rain, followed by on-and-off isolated showers until lunchtime. Some areas of fog are also possible, so it's not the greatest start to Friday.
After a damp morning, it should start drying out in the afternoon, but it may take a bit. By mid-to-late afternoon, skies should begin to open with clouds breaking. The late afternoon and early evening will be partly sunny and it's going to be a spectacular evening for the Panthers' preseason game against Cleveland.
Weekend:
Sunny and warmer as the high temperatures climb back into the low-to-mid 80s.There is still a slight chance of an isolated shower or storm in the afternoon at 20% — lows in the upper 60s.
