NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Gov. Jeff Landry said Tuesday he supports any federal resources President Donald Trump wants to send to Louisiana to address violent crime.

Landry, speaking at a news conference in Baton Rouge, declined to give specifics on the timeline for deploying the National Guard to New Orleans or other cities.
The governor pointed to recent investments from Meta, Hyundai and the liquefied natural gas industry as opportunities that require strong participation from local businesses.
“Businesses want to operate in safe environments,” Landry said. “We’re going to do whatever we need to do to stop the violence and get our cities and streets under control. … You can’t have economic opportunity
