80-year-old dies in Cochise County crash

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - An 80-year-old died in a two-vehicle crash in Cochise County on Monday, Sept. 15.

The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened around 1 p.m. at the intersection of Dos Cabezas Road and Chiricahua Drive in Pearce.

The CCSO said the 80-year-old ran through a stop sign and hit a pick-up truck. The 80-year-old was found unresponsive and died a short time later.

The investigation is ongoing, and more information will be released later.
