BREWER -- Brewer High School recently announced a new partnership with St Joseph Hospital that aims to provide hands-on career exploration for their students.

Figuring out what those next steps after high school are can be a daunting task for many students.

A few years ago, Brewer High School launched an Extended Learning Opportunity (ELO) program that provides career exploration opportunities outside the classroom.

“We’re trying to give them as much information as we possibly can to make informed decisions to move on with their lives," said Kevin Napolillo, ELO Coordinator for Brewer High School. "I have kids going out to talk to people directly in the field right now who have their finger on the pulse of what they're doing."
