ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Twenty-four people were recently arrested during drug busts in Gwinnett County, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies said five search warrants were executed in Buford in August as part of their investigation into a drug-trafficking ring.

The organization, reportedly led by Adrian Bernard Butler, allegedly distributed drugs in Buford, Flowery Branch and Gainesville in Gwinnett County, as well as Forsyth, Jackson, Habersham and Lumpkin counties, and “throughout northeast Georgia.”

According to the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office, the warrants led to the seizure of “trafficking amounts of fentanyl, cocaine, and crack cocaine, as well as pounds of marijuana and multiple firearms.”
