ESTACADA Ore. (KPTV) - Two schools went into “secure status” on Monday afternoon after a man fired a gun in a nearby home, according to the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.
Police were called to a home in the 800 block of North Broadway Street in Estacada around 2:30 p.m. Monday.
Upon arrival, they learned that a man, identified as 41-year-old Kyle Anthony Gossling, had fired two shots from a semi-automatic pistol into the floor of his home while his mother was there picking up belongings.
Neither person was injured in the incident, and Gossling was arrested about an hour later following a standoff. He was charged with unlawful use of a weapon.
