California authorities have identified the girl who was found dead last week in the trunk of an impounded Tesla registered to the musician D4vd .

“The decedent has been identified, but the legal next of kin notification is still pending. Information cannot be released until after the notification occurs,” a source with the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner tells Rolling Stone .

A law enforcement source told NBC 4 that the victim was between the ages of 14 and 15 when she died. The suspected cause of death has not been released.
