NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) is launching a new program to help businesses get ready for the next time a disaster strikes.
The ReadyTN Business Program is open to businesses of all sizes, and opting in is free. The state agency announced the program during September in recognition of National Preparedness Month.
The message behind ReadyTN is simple: you never really know where severe storms will hit, but what you can do is prepare.
“This initiative reflects Tennessee’s mission to equip individuals, families, businesses, and communities with the tools they need to prepare for emergencies and recover stronger, with an emphasis on long-term resilience and financial preparedness,” a press release on the program said.
