HOUSTON — Preparations for the upcoming November election are in high gear.
The Harris County Clerk began its logic and accuracy testing on Tuesday to ensure each voter will get the correct ballot.
For an election in the country’s third-largest county, it requires “tedious work" according to Harris County Clerk Teneshia Hudspeth.
Hudspeth held a news conference on Tuesday discussing the state-mandated logic and accuracy testing. People are testing machines and reviewing the details of ballots for thousands of Harris County voters.
“It’s a very strategic point where we test out the language, even the audio of the language on the ballot,” Hudspeth said.
