BEAUFORT, S.C. (WSAV) — Two major positions are up for grabs in South Carolina's 2026 election season, the governorship and Lindsey Graham's U.S. Senate seat.

While South Carolina still has over a year to go before voters will make their final decisions, the 2026 races for U.S. Senate and governor are in full swing.

Here's a rundown of current candidates in South Carolina's 2026 top elections:

Republican

Pamela Evette

Pamela Evette currently serves as the 93rd Lieutenant Governor alongside current Gov. Henry McMaster. She was elected in 2018, making her the first female Republican Lieutenant Governor in the South Carolina's history.

Evette’s campaign announcement came in the form of a video on social media in July, ending months of speculation over whether she would enter or not.
