Boil water advisory issued for part of Spartanburg County

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. —

The Startex-Jackson-Wellford-Duncan Water District has issued a boil water advisory for an area in Spartanburg County, South Carolina.

Customers in the following areas of Inman are advised to boil their water for at least one full minute prior to drinking or cooking:

Hannon Road (Between William Bottom Road and New Cut Road Only)

Olin Drive

Martha Court

Officials said they have no reason to believe the water has been compromised; this is simply a precaution.

Customers will be notified when the problem has been resolved.
