Ruben Amorim has been told that he would have been a “perfect fit” for Chelsea as his Manchester United career threatens to fall apart. The Red Devils appointed the Portuguese coach as Erik ten Hag’s successor midway through last season.
But his time at Old Trafford has so far been a nightmare. He has won just 17 of his 47 matches in all competitions - just eight of those successes coming in the Premier League .
