Major supermarket Asda has revealed it will be following the likes of Tesco, Sainsbury's and Morrisons to add a well-loved lunch offer to its shelves.

The supermarket has now launched its first-ever fixed price Meal Deal, offering hungry shoppers with a main, snack and a drink, for just £3.74, across all stores.

Similar to other supermarket rivals such as Tesco , Sainsbury's and Morrisons , Asda will now offer shoppers with a wide range of main, snack and a drink options which can be picked up on the go, all for a fixed price.

As part of the deal, Asda will offer shoppers a huge choice of 132 mains, 336 snacks and 222 drinks to pick from with a range of own label 'to go' products like an Asda Chicken and Bacon Sandwich as well as branded favourites such as the Doritos Tangy Chee
