SHARONVILLE, Ohio —

A new restoration project is underway along Sharon Creek, aiming to restore nearly one mile of stream channel and bring big changes to the community.

The Mill Creek Alliance is leading this $1.8 million effort, which is funded by four different grants along with state and federal funds. Advertisement

The trail, part of the larger "Mill Creek Triangle Trail," will run along the eastern streambank, connecting three parks: Sharon Woods, Winton Woods, and Glenwood Gardens. Additionally, the restoration will provide creek access for paddling and fishing.

The executive director of the Mill Creek Alliance said this is their biggest restoration project to date.
