Utah prosecutors have charged 22-year-old Tyler Robinson with aggravated murder and six other counts in the shooting death of political activist Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University. Utah County Attorney Jeff Gray announced his intent to seek the death penalty, citing evidence including a note left by Robinson and text messages showing he planned the attack. Robinson allegedly told his family he targeted Kirk because he believed he spread “too much hate.” A second man, George Zinn, was also arrested on separate charges of obstruction and sexual exploitation of a minor, though investigators say he was not involved in the shooting.
