WEST BLOCTON, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A Bibb County man faces several charges after officers say they found evidence of child pornography during a death investigation.
The investigation unfolded inside a wooden white home. At first, the death of a middle school boy from a gunshot wound was the center of the investigation, and then it turned into something much more.
The West Blocton Police Department got a call on Thursday, Aug. 28 about the death of a child on Hickory Street. Police alerted the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) to investigate.
Then, ALEA reportedly found more.
“Some materials were found that caused some concern. There was a search warrant executed on the residence,” said West Blocton Police Chief Pete Hicks.
