Connecticut’s courts rolled out new policies Tuesday in an attempt to put conditions on immigration agents who take someone into custody inside a courthouse.
The polices, which apply to all law enforcement, require a warrant to make an arrest inside a courthouse and prevent officers or agents from wearing a mask in the building.

The policies come amid criticism that Immigration and Custom Enforcement agents have been detaining people without showing a warrant and while wearing masks or not identifying themselves.
