MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Memphis police arrested a man wanted for first-degree murder.
Broderick Baker is charged with a murder that happened earlier this month.
A body was found in a wooded area behind IHOP on Sycamore View on September 3.
Arrest records say MPD picked him up Friday with the help of the FBI.
According to police, officers found him at the Classic Inn on American Way.
Police say someone inside a room opened the door, when police spotted Baker.
Court records say Baker jumped out the second story window and took off.
Police say they found drugs, paraphernalia and a gun.
Baker is also charged with aggravated assault, especially aggravated kidnapping and possessing a handgun as a convicted felon.
