DENVER (KDVR) — A joint emergency preparedness drill will disrupt public transit in Arvada on Wednesday.
The Regional Transportation District's G Line, which is a commuter rail line, will have service suspended between Olde Town Arvada and Pecos Junction stations as local emergency services conduct the drill in coordination with RTD.
RTD said that area residents and businesses will see a "noticeable presence" of emergency responders and vehicles during the drill.
There will be no rail service during the exercise, and bus shuttles will be provided from 10 a.m. through 2 p.m. during the service disruption. The last complete eastbound train will depart the Wheat Ridge-Ward Road station at 9:21 a.m., and the last complete westbound train will depart from Union Station at 9:31 a.m.
