The Northampton boys soccer team traveled to face fellow 7-1 Eastern Pennsylvania Conference contender Freedom less than 24 hours after it hosted unbeaten Emmaus.

That hard-fought 1-0 defeat to the Green Hornets Monday night could be why the Konkrete Kids played more defensively than they had at any point during Chris Bastidas’ tenure as head coach.
