MADISON, Wis. --- A day after being named the Big Ten Player of the Week, Wisconsin Volleyball's Mimi Colyer was named the National Player of the Week by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
She led her Badgers to a perfect 2-0 record last week, sweeping both Milwaukee and No. 21 Georgia Tech. Over the course of just six sets, Colyer averaged 5.83 kills and 6.25 points per set, boasting an impressive hitting percentage of .582 (35 kills, 3 errors, 55 attempts). She has recorded double-digit kills in every one of her six matches so far.
