Simon Harris says he is ‘open’ to making the president’s office subject to FoI requests

Tánaiste Simon Harris has said he is open to making the office of the ­president subject to Freedom of Information (FoI) requests.

Specified public bodies, including government departments, are legally obliged to release information to the public or the media if requested to do so through a FoI request.
