Speaking at the Rabi Conference 2025-26, which began on September 15 at Pusa, New Delhi, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reaffirmed the government's commitment to farmer welfare. Highlighting the conference theme- “One Nation – One Agriculture – One Team” - he stressed the importance of unified efforts between the Centre, states, scientists, and agricultural stakeholders to transform the country's agricultural landscape.

"We are not ordinary people- we have the privilege and responsibility of shaping the future of half of the country's population. Our work must be marked by dedication and genuine concern for the upliftment of our farmers," he said.
