Poundland has made a U-turn on its plans to close 68 stores across the UK, with some shops saved from closure - including one in Glasgow.
As part of its latest wave of closures, it has already shut 57 stores , with six more planned for September 28. Despite this, the discount retailer has now confirmed that it will not close 11 stores that were initially at risk.
That includes the store on Great Western Road, in Anniesland, which will no longer be closing its doors to shoppers.
However, the popular shop on Dumbarton Road, in Partick, is not part of the list and will close down.
