Syracuse, N.Y. —If someone is going to wake you up from a good nap, there better be a valid reason.

For Syracuse wide receiver Darrell Gill Jr., his mother did have worthy news to wake him from a Sunday slumber earlier this week when she spotted her son featured on ESPN’s “You Got Mossed” segment after he made a spectacular catch in SU’s win over Colgate.

“I was taking a nice little nap. My mom called and said ‘did you see who shouted you out?’ Saw it was Randy Moss on my phone and I started jumping up and down. It was really exciting,” Gill Jr. said.
