Two whales came incredibly close to a boat off the coast of New Hampshire on Tuesday.

Captain Dale Sprague and his first mate, Matt Hamilton, said they were about eight miles past the Isles of Shoals when they spotted the whales.

Both Sprague and Hamilton say this isn't their first encounter with a whale, but getting this close was rattling.

"They were definitely breaching on both sides of the boat. And, the tail came up and right behind us, and definitely rattled you. Definitely rattling,"
