Second bullet and stab-protective vest to be donated to Cranston K

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Another four-legged member of Cranston’s finest is set to receive a donated bullet proof vest.

K-9 officer Beny will receive that bullet and stab-protective vest, thanks to a donation by “Vested Interest in K-9s.”

Beny’s vest, unlike his fellow K-9 officer Odin’s, will bear a tribute to Chris Caramela, a Cumberland native who volunteered with Vested Interests, and died earlier this month.
