Pedestrian struck by driver in Bristol; King Street closed

BRISTOL, CT (WFSB) - A portion of King Street was closed in Bristol because a person was struck by a vehicle, according to transportation officials.

The state Department of Transportation said the pedestrian was hit on Route 229 around 7:15 a.m.

The road was closed between New Street and Bernside Drive.

No other details were released.
