MUSKEGON, MI – Week 3 of the high school football season was all about perseverance.

Several Muskegon-area programs faced “must-win” scenarios if they planned on turning the tide on their seasons. The Muskegon Big Reds, along with Whitehall, Reeths-Puffer and North Muskegon, made a statement with their collective wins last weekend, as they proved early season setbacks were in the rearview mirror.
