KITTERY, Maine — Tyzo Diallo was present at the start of the Traip Academy boys soccer preseason training this year, just like had been the previous three years.
However, this year, his senior year, was different. This year, Diallo was there to play for the Rangers, and not just out there to watch all his childhood friends play and prepare for the upcoming high school season.
A talented player with aspirations to play at the next level, Diallo spent his first three years of high school playing with Seacoast United on its MLS Next club team.
According to the Seacoast United web site, the MLS Next is the "most elite platform for youth player development." However, playing in the MLS Next league, with its full-year training committment, prevents players from playing for both their club t
