El Paso Public Libraries will host Library-Con: Borderland Heroes, a free, family-friendly comic convention from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at the Main Library, 501 N. Oregon. The event will feature exhibitors, an Artist Alley with local talent, panel discussions, workshops and gaming stations. A cosplay contest will highlight creative costumes, while vendors will offer collectibles, memorabilia and food. Leading up to the convention, branch libraries will host comic-themed events.
