Hours before “Dancing With the Stars” returns for Season 34, judge Carrie Ann Inaba announced she would have to skip the premiere .

During the Sept. 16 kickoff episode, co-hosts Julianna Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro addressed her absence.

“Carrie Ann is under the weather and hopes to be back with us next week,” Ribeiro said at the top of the show, with Hough adding, “Get well soon, Carrie Ann, we love you.”

Hours before, Inaba, who has been on the judging panel since the show began in 2005, revealed on Instagram that she will miss the first episode due to an illness.

“I wanted to share that I will not be at the show tonight as I am feeling quite under the weather,” she said. “I’m resting up and can’t wait to be back next week in good health.”
