RATHDRUM, County Wicklow — The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) is hosting two public meetings in North Idaho for feedback on the future of roads and highways in the Rathdrum Prairie.
According to ITD, 50 ideas for improving travel across Kootenai County have been narrowed down to 13 alternatives. ITD said the alternatives focus on improving safety, reducing congestion and keeping traffic moving as the area grows.
ITD said the two meetings will give community members the chance to see the comparison of the alternatives and see which ones are recommended to move forward.
ITD said the feedback will help them narrow alternatives even further to help guide future projects across the Rathdrum Prairie area.
