MEDINA, Ohio -- For the past 60 years, the Medina County Park District has offered programs that promote conservation, healthy exercise, family fun and education.

This October is no exception. Choose one or more programs from the list below and help celebrate the anniversary of the founding of the parks.

60th anniversary celebration: 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 4, The Lodge at Allardale, 141 Remsen Road in Medina.

Join the staff to celebrate the park district’s 60th anniversary and have some good old family-friendly fun!

There will be plenty of activities to keep you entertained, including hayrides, games, face painting, magic shows, music and more.

Everyone who attends is eligible to enter a raffle basket drawing for a chance at great prizes.
