Lynchburg, Va. (WDBJ) - A 16-year-old is being held at Lynchburg’s Juvenile Detention Facility after police say they found a video of him holding a handgun in what appeared to be a bathroom at E.C. Glass High School.
The video was posted to social media around 3 p.m. Tuesday, according to Lynchburg Police.
Officers worked with the school district to identify the teen and find him at his home. Police searched the home and found the handgun.
The 16-year-old is being charged with possession of a firearm on school property.
