Smoke and flames shot out of a Swiss Airlines flight set to depart for Zurich Tuesday while on the runway at Logan International Airport.

Video showed the plane attempting to take off when smoke and flames began shooting out of one of its engines.
The crew immediately aborted the takeoff, Swiss Airlines said. The passengers were able to disembark the aircraft after it taxied back to the gate.
The FAA said it briefly paused some arrivals to the airport before the plane taxied off the runway.
There were 223 passengers and 13 crew members on board.
