ANDERSON COUNTY, Kan. (KAKE) - One was person was taken to the hospital in critical condition after being injured in a grain cart incident in eastern Kansas Tuesday.

Around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Anderson County dispatchers received a call reporting someone being trapped in a grain cart in a rural area of the county west of Garnett. About 15 minutes later, first responders arrived on scene, entered the cart and found that the person was experiencing a life-threatening emergency, with a tourniquet being applied to control severe bleeding.
