MONTREAL -A global emissions deal remains a key priority for airlines ahead of a key U.N. gathering next week, despite skepticism that the industry will hit their own environmental targets, the head of trade body IATA told reporters on Wednesday.

Creating enough green jet fuel and credits eligible under the global CORSIA emissions deal for airlines to purchase will be key issues at the Montreal gathering, International Air Transport Association director general Willie Walsh said, even as he cast doubt on a 2030 industry environmental target.
