RICHFIELD TWP., MI – A Davison Community Schools bus was involved in a crash in Richfield Township on Wednesday morning, but there were no serious injuries, according to the district.

The incident occurred at the intersection of M-15 (State Road) and Potter Road at 7:28 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17, according to Genesee County 911.

District officials said in a statement that no students were in the vehicle, Bus No. 68, at the time of the crash in Richfield Township.

The bus driver, the bus’s sole occupant, and the driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash will be checked out at a hospital as a precaution, district officials said.

Other buses were able to pick up children on the route and bring them to school Wednesday morning.
