BARABOO, Wis. (WMTV) - The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office released the name of the 24-year-old Madison man who died in a crash on the exit road of Devil’s Lake State Park.

The agency stated Jamison Ruston died in the crash.

According to the Sauk County Sherriff’s Office, several calls came in around 6:30 p.m. Sunday for a single-vehicle crash on the exit road of Devil’s Lake State Park, just south of County Highway DL in the Town of Baraboo.

Officials determined a 2020 Ford Mustang was heading northbound on a one-lane, one-way exit road that was leaving Devil’s Lake State Park.

The vehicle was allegedly speeding and couldn’t make a sweeping righthand curve that was in the road, deputies stated.
