A woman who was shot in the face during a road-rage incident near Stockton University's Galloway Township campus last week feared the alleged shooter would return to "finish what he started."

Maritza Arias-Galva was driving north on South Pomona Road near West White Horse Pike on Sept. 11 when she put her turn signal on and began to merge into the inside lane in front of Ernest Heinz, who was driving a white Honda CRV, according to the affidavit of probable cause.

Heinz allegedly sped past Arias-Galva and the two made a right onto Jimmie Leeds, where Arias-Galva passed him. Heinz then pulled up next to Arias-Galva, uttered profanity, threatened to kill her and pulled out a handgun, firing one shot, the affidavit states.
