Imprisoned former congressman George Santos says he’s been placed into solitary confinement after an unspecific death threat at FCI Fairton in New Jersey.

The 37-year-old Republican is very unhappy about his living arrangements.

“I have been forced into solitary confinement while behind bars as the @FBI investigates a threat against my life,” Santos claimed on social media Tuesday morning.

Attached to his post was a handwritten note sent to the South Shore Press, for which the former New York lawmaker has been a columnist since surrendering to prison on July 25.
