A woman was about to go on a morning stroll when she noticed something peculiar in her footwear which quickly ruined her plans. Upon removing her shoe to examine it further, she was left disgusted and deeply unsettled by her discovery.

Many people opt to store their footwear in dark, moisture-prone areas such as garages, but this practice can expose them to unwelcome insects and creatures. This proved to be the case for Kate Hughes, who had left a pair of trainers in her garage overnight. When she slipped them on the following morning ahead of an eagerly anticipated walk, she sensed something lurking within.

After kicking off her shoe, she discovered a sizeable cockroach had taken up residence inside - and Kate managed to capture her horrified response on her video doorbell system.
