TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Two Tallahassee women were sentenced to prison for conspiracy to commit mail fraud.
Court documents show that Julie Michelle Shuler, 32, and Taylor Skiey Bradham, 26, worked for a company contracted to provide customer service and records administration services for the Florida Prepaid College Program.
Records show Shuler and Bradham used their positions to fraudulently access and view personal identifying information of Florida Prepaid College Program account owners.
They used and planned to use that information to change the ownership of contracts and plans without the account owners’ knowledge.
The pair also took over control of several accounts and canceled the contracts, causing refund checks to be mailed to an address of their choosing.
