DAVIESS CO., Ky. (WFIE) - The cause of death for the Daviess County inmate that died in August has been revealed.

Trooper Corey King says a medical examiner ruled 28-year-old Dalton Gordan’s death as “acute (multidrug) intoxication”.

Officials say the morning of August 20th, deputy jailers found Gordan unresponsive.

The jailer say their life-saving efforts were unsuccessful.

Authorities say Gordan was being housed alone at the time.
