2Man fatally stabbed in DC apartment in suspected domestic incident

Washington, DC – A 20-year-old man was found stabbed to death inside a Takoma neighborhood apartment Monday evening, and police say the fatal attack may have stemmed from a domestic dispute.

Just before 7 p.m., officers from the Fourth District responded to reports of a stabbing in the 200 block of Carroll Street NW. When officers arrived at the apartment complex, they found an adult male victim unconscious and not breathing, suffering from multiple stab wounds.

DC Fire and EMS attempted life-saving measures, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has been identified as Devell Wade, 20, of Northwest, DC. According to preliminary findings, investigators believe the stabbing was domestic in nature,
